Prof. João Gomes was presiding the Evaluation Committee of the PhD thesis presented to the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Barcelona, by Mr. Apostolos Salmatonidis, entitled: "An integrated assessment of nanoparticle exposures in the ceramic industry". The candidate was awarded the degree of Doctor in Analytical Chemistry and the Environment, with the highest mark: Excellent.
