Ana has a strong background in Engineering and Management, including a Master in Civil Engineering with specialization in Water Resources, a Master in Petroleum Engineering and a Post-graduation in Management for Engineers. She also managed to specialize in specific topics in the energy field, of which two specialization courses in Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology can be highlighted, as well as the ongoing PhD in Petroleum Engineering.
Her professional career, which started in 2006, is particularly multifaceted, complemented by Research and Project. The first includes studies in the field of hydraulics and water resources and several emerging problems in the oil & gas industry. The second highlights the project for water use for energy generation, as well as several technical-economic studies in the fields of energy policies and strategies, as well as energy business.
Her main research interests include flow assurance problems, energy transition, hydropower systems, hydrology and hydrogeology, geothermal wells, climate change and sustainability.
