Completed a Bachelor´s degree in Materials Engineering and a Masters in Bioengineering and Nanosystems at Instituto Superior Técnico. The thesis dissertation titled "Emulsion stability studies and correlation with porous microspheres synthesis" was conducted at CERENA-IST. Main scientific interests are colloidal chemistry, biomedical applications of nanotechnology, microencapsulation technology and polymers. At the moment working as a research fellow for a project associated with FabriRes and Cork Supply 4 to develop thermo-expandable microcapsules for cork agglomerates in the wine industry.
